Oppdragsgiver var selveste <strong>Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer<\/strong>. Lars kunne fortelle at <span style=\"background: #e7e9e9;\">\u00abmanuset er knallbra og jeg gleder meg til \u00e5 levere pitch. Spesielt n\u00e5 som jeg ogs\u00e5 kan sende inn storyboard\u00bb<\/span>. Wow! En vesentlig forskjell fra den forrige versjonen var at Chucky, dukken, skulle v\u00e6re mer AI enn forhekset. Historien starter med \u00e5 gi Chucky en mer sympatisk vinkling. Karakteren hans snus etter hvert til noe ondere. Chucky og Andy, gutten som f\u00e5r dukken i gave, er f\u00f8rst venner. Men etter hvert som Chucky beg\u00e5r fler og fler ugjerninger, vokser de fra hverandre. Det ble et par <strong>knallgode kaffekopper<\/strong> en grytidlig morgen i april 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vi ble enige om noen #emosjonelle huskeregler for storyboard:<br \/><\/strong>\u2022 Cinematic storytelling\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 Cool interesting shots\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 Tell the story with pictures<br \/>\u2022 Make audience FEEL something<br \/>\u2022 Do I understand the story by looking at it?<br \/>\u2022 Would u love to see that shot in cinemas<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Lars skulle bestemme seg neste dag for hvilken scene han ville levere med storyboard: \u00abJeg lager en beskrivelse og sender deg noen enkle skriblerier s\u00e5 fort jeg kan.\u00bb\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Karakteren Chucky<\/h2>\n<p>Chucky kunne se noks\u00e5 lik ut som i de gamle filmene. Ingen store forandringer, bortsett fra at han n\u00e5 kunne kontrollere elektriske duppeditter. Og at han har lysende \u00f8yne i noen situasjoner. Det skulle vi spille p\u00e5. Lars skulle legge ved referansebilder p\u00e5 hvordan Chucky burde se ut. Men i stedet for Mogwai, skal Chucky v\u00e6re oppi boksen. Gj\u00f8r det veldig enkelt, i samme stil som p\u00e5 storyboardene.\u00bb<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/KLEVB_Chunky_PosterGremlinsHomage_r01V01_280419-Flatten-crop-Short-bb2540c5.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h3>KLEVB_Chunky_PosterGremlinsHomage_r01V01_280419-Flatten-crop-Short-bb2540c5<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Men, det var en oppgave for g\u00f8y til \u00e5 la v\u00e6re. Jeg jobbet <strong>en hel natt<\/strong> med \u00e5 lage den slik jeg \u00f8nsket. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vi diskuterte stil og fremdriftsplan for en uke fremover. Begge reiste hjem med hjemmelekser. Neste kveld fikk jeg utvalgt scene fra Lars med hans modifikasjoner. Manusforfatter hadde godkjent \u2013 <strong>vi var i gang<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Praktisk gjennomf\u00f8ring<\/h2>\n<p>Vi jobbet over nettet og telefon. Fra kontor til kontor. F\u00f8rst gikk vi over utkastet av scenen. Lars sendte meg r\u00f8ffe skisser p\u00e5 ideer til shots \u2013 hans egne <strong>Lars-doodles<\/strong>. Disse gikk vi s\u00e5 gjennom sammen. Deretter lagde jeg utkast til ham. S\u00e5 kom han tilbake med forbedringer og nye ideer til bildene for \u00e5 pushe ideene enda lenger. Underveis kom det til nye bilder. Lars kom med nye forbedringer underveis og pushet oss til \u00e5 dra ting s\u00e5 langt som vi kunne. Han ba meg tenke <strong>humor og skrekk<\/strong> og var \u00e5pen for mine ideer. Det var en spennende prosess. Scenens grunnkonsept ble mer og mer foredlet og vi n\u00e6rmet oss <strong>deadline<\/strong>. I sluttfasen jobbet vi med d\u00f8dsscenen til den usympatiske faren Shane. If\u00f8lge manus skulle hodet hans havne i sn\u00f8freseren. Lars refererte til 80-tallets <strong>slasher-filmer<\/strong> som kunne v\u00e6re morsomme selv n\u00e5r noen d\u00f8de. Han gjentok stadig: <span style=\"background: #e7e9e9;\">\u00abIkke glem blandingen av humor og horror!\u00bb<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vi beh\u00f8vde ikke se detaljer for \u00e5 skj\u00f8nne at noe forferdelig skjedde. Men kunne vi lage rare grimaser, eller at det sprutet blod p\u00e5 sn\u00f8mannen? Jeg foreslo at skalpen til Shane kunne kuttes av med sn\u00f8freseren n\u00e5r han fl\u00f8y gjennom luften, for s\u00e5 \u00e5 lande p\u00e5 hodet til sn\u00f8mannen. <strong>Lars lo<\/strong> og sa at det var en id\u00e9 han likte. Vi skulle g\u00e5 for den.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Final shot<\/h2>\n<p>Final shot skulle v\u00e6re <strong>Chucky med en kniv i lufta<\/strong>, klar til hugg, med m\u00e5nen i bakgrunnen. Lars ville ikke at Chucky skulle hugge i dette ikoniske bildet som vi akkurat hadde komponert. Neste bilde skulle n\u00e6rt p\u00e5 h\u00e5nd med kniv \u2013 med en pil for \u00e5 markere bevegelse. Vi var n\u00e5 s\u00e5 \u00e5 si ferdig.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Aller siste innspurt<\/h2>\n<p>Det gjensto bare noe finpussing fra min side. Lars hadde litt igjen p\u00e5 regikommentarene til pitchen, og p\u00e5 \u00e5 justere lookbook*. S\u00e5 sendte han inn hele pitchen med Gremlins-pastisjen som omslag. Jeg var s\u00e5 spent at jeg nesten ikke sov den natten.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Rask respons<\/h2>\n<p>Allerede dagen etter h\u00f8rte Lars fra oppdragsgiveren. Veldig <strong>gode tilbakemeldinger<\/strong> p\u00e5 b\u00e5de lookbook og storyboards! Og noen timer senere bekreftet filmselskapet at han hadde f\u00e5tt oppdraget.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2 class=\"h3-style\">Godkjent som leverand\u00f8r?<\/h2>\n<p>Selv om Lars Klevberg var min oppdragsgiver p\u00e5 pitchen, m\u00e5tte jeg bli godkjent og underskrive kontrakt for \u00e5 kunne jobbe videre med prosjektet. Det Lars gjorde da varmet mitt hjerte, <strong>han solgte meg inn!<\/strong> Jeg ble engasjert og jobbet videre p\u00e5 storyboard og et par konseptskisser. Scenen vi hadde levert ble gjort om fra vinter til sommer. Sn\u00f8mannen ble til en liten hagegnom. En vesentlig forskjell fra den forrige versjonen var at Chucky, dukken, skulle v\\u00e6re mer AI enn forhekset. Historien starter med \\u00e5 gi Chucky en mer sympatisk vinkling. Karakteren hans snus etter hvert til noe ondere. Chucky og Andy, gutten som f\\u00e5r dukken i gave, er f\\u00f8rst venner. Men etter hvert som Chucky beg\\u00e5r fler og fler ugjerninger, vokser de fra hverandre. Ingen store forandringer, bortsett fra at han n\\u00e5 kunne kontrollere elektriske duppeditter. Og at han har lysende \\u00f8yne i noen situasjoner. Det skulle vi spille p\\u00e5. Lars skulle legge ved referansebilder p\\u00e5 hvordan Chucky burde se ut. I sluttfasen jobbet vi med d\\u00f8dsscenen til den usympatiske faren Shane. If\\u00f8lge manus skulle hodet hans havne i sn\\u00f8freseren. Lars refererte til 80-tallets <strong>slasher-filmer<\\\/strong> som kunne v\\u00e6re morsomme selv n\\u00e5r noen d\\u00f8de. Han gjentok stadig: <span style=\\\"background: #e7e9e9;\\\">\\u00abIkke glem blandingen av humor og horror!\\u00bb<\\\/span>\\u00a0<br \\\/><br \\\/>Vi beh\\u00f8vde ikke se detaljer for \\u00e5 skj\\u00f8nne at noe forferdelig skjedde. Men kunne vi lage rare grimaser, eller at det sprutet blod p\\u00e5 sn\\u00f8mannen? Det Lars gjorde da varmet mitt hjerte, <strong>han solgte meg inn!<\\\/strong> Jeg ble engasjert og jobbet videre p\\u00e5 storyboard og et par konseptskisser.
